I am particularly interested in identifying risk and resilience profiles, and developing strategies for health messaging that promote good mental health and prevent/attenuate mental ill-health.

Areas of Interest:

  • Mental Health Science
  • Suicidology and Injury Prevention
  • Health messaging
  • Scale development and validation
  • Behavioural-science informed strategies: Development & Evaluation

Teaching

I am an experienced educator and have engaged in major curriculum development and re-design of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Psychology. I have taught research methods and statistics units at a number of universities, including University of Canberra, University of Wollongong, and University of New England.
