Personal profile

Personal profile

I am a staff member of CSU (20 years) and a Social Worker with 30 years’ experience in rural NSW. My research has focussed on anxiety management in a rural setting using a group work approach, and service access. Academically I am interested in aspects of teaching and learning:  a democratic approach to education - Social Work has dominantly mature age students working in the field who often have salient experience that can be actively incorporated into subject delivery. I am also looking at an evaluation of experience and outcomes for Distance Education Social Work students who have also done their usual face to face residential school on zoom for the last 2 years.
