Dr Mir Rabiul Islam is an environmental social scientist with special research interest in community psychology. He received his PhD in social psychology from University of Bristol. His research is devoted to psycho-social dynamics related to race and ethnicity, cultural issues in ageing and disability, human factors and environmental Issues, coping, resilience and recovery in natural disasters, climate justice, human rights and displaced population; and cross-cultural and intercultural communication.
