Rob has been a professional Paramedic for 27 years having worked and trained in Sydney, The Central Coast, Newcastle, Port Macquarie & Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
He joined NSW Ambulance as a Registered Nurse looking for something a little more dynamic and exciting in 1993.
Since then he has been involved in multiple clinical and management roles in varied settings throughout NSW including participation in the proof of concept trial of Extended Care Paramedic Practice in 2008.
In 2016 Rob moved to the United Arab Emirates to take up a full-time Clinical Educators role. During his time there he also trained and completed certification & licensure to international Emergency Medical Technician Advanced level. As well as his teaching role with CSU Rob continues to practice as an ECP with ASNSW.
Rob is an early career researcher who is presently working on a PhD research project which examines Mental Health Education within Paramedicine.

Rob is currently the subject Convenor for two subjects at CSU in Paramedic program, which involve the Advanced management of Trauma and Integrated WorkPlace learning.
Additionally, he consults for numerous other subjects.
