Sarah is a nurse academic at Charles Sturt University, where she teaches an undergraduate subject on person-centred care in diverse settings and is part of a nurse/midwife researcher group focused on child protection and mentoring early- and mid-career researchers. She values CSU's organisational ethos strongly. Sarah is mid-candidature in her PhD: a qualitative study examining preservice registered nurse education for mandatory reporting of child maltreatment in Australia. Sarah has a deep commitment to social justice, equity, and intersectionality as core personal and professional values.
