Sarah is a lecturer in Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University. She came to CSU following many years of experience as a Senior Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapist, research coordinator and public health program manager. Sarah has extensive clinical experience within the Australian public health system, both in metropolitan and regional settings.
Clinically, Sarah has worked in intensive care units, respiratory medicine units including complex ventilation weaning and tracheostomy management and a wide variety of surgical units including cardiac, thoracic and liver transplant. Major abdominal surgery in particular is a special interest area, with Sarah currently undertaking a PhD in the field of physiotherapy for major abdominal surgery patients.
Sarah hold a Master of Leadership in Health and Human Services and has a keen interest in implementation science and evidence based practice in public health.
Sarah has also completed a Graduate Certificate of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.

Sarah is undertaking a PhD investigating improving the accessibility of preoperative physiotherapy education and training for rural and regional patients undergoin major abdominal surgery.
