Shayne Chau is a Senior Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography at Charles Sturt University, Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Exeter, and Adjunct Staff at the University of Canberra and VinUniversity. A Fellow of both the Higher Education Academy (UK) and the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy, he is an internationally published researcher with over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles, multiple textbooks, and book chapters in radiography, computed tomography, neuroimaging, and person-centred care. His academic and clinical expertise spans diagnostic radiography, advanced neuroimaging in Parkinson’s disease, AI in healthcare, and innovative pedagogical strategies in higher education. He has held leadership roles in curriculum development, accreditation, and professional standards, and serves on editorial boards for several journals. Alongside his academic career, Shayne maintains active clinical practice in public and private radiology, contributing to evidence-based practice and workforce development.
