Personal profile

Since 2019 I have worked as the Curriculum Manager for Charles Sturt University at the NSW Police Academy. I lead the team that has responsibility for designing the program, preparing all teaching material, developing assessments, and enhancing the learning management systems. I am currently on the LMS Review Committee investigating new systems to be implemented across the university. To guarantee NSW Police recruits receive a high-quality learning experience, I have developed and implemented a continual improvement model that ensures a thorough process of course and assessment design, ongoing quality assurance and evaluation.

Prior to this appointment, I held numerous senior roles in several different organisations. These have included that of Principal of a coeducational 7-12 college of 550 students with 65 staff, Vocational Education and Training Coordinator/RTO Manager, School Principal Support Officer for principals across fifteen schools, Assistant Principal and Information Services Coordinator. In each of my roles, I have developed considerable experience in relation to human resources, regulatory compliance and budgetary matters. In each organisation that I have worked in, I have led and been involved in strategic planning, risk management, critical incident response and the setting of long-term educational goals, as well as issues concerning the day-to-day running of the organisation.
