Tarni Nelson is an academic and clinical Diagnostic Radiographer and is currently involved in research at Charles Sturt University.

Tarni's background is a trauma radiographer, with years of experience wihtin the Australian public healthcare sector, as well as working within the National Health Service in the United Kingdom. Her area of speciality lies in Computed Tomography.

Current research includes Obesity within Medical Imaging as well as working alongside colleagues around Artificial Intelligence perceptions. Tarni is also working within the Scholarship of Learning and Teaching sphere, where the pedagogical implementation of an undergraduate podcast is being reviewed.
