Career Summary
I am an experienced and established Intensive Care Paramedic with APHRA registration, I draw upon broad prehospital experience in both established and developing emergency systems. This includes frontline field experience in Australia, England, United Arab Emirates and West Africa. I am also a Paramedicine lecturer at Charles Sturt University (full time 2022, sessional since 2016), supporting the Paramedicine teams in both Port Macquarie and Bathurst.
My family arrived in Australia in Jan 2016, and since then I have maintained a number of casual ICP contracts with organisations such as Charles Sturt University, Careflight, Newcrest mining Ltd and State Medical Assistance Ltd. As such, I have been able to deliver ICP level care and stabilise patients in the most challenging and remote Australian environments both on and off-shore. I utilise various aviation platforms and retrieval systems to ensure the patient receives definitive care as early as possible.
My expertise also includes 12 years of impeccable military service with the UK Armed Forces in various roles; this aspect of my career foundered my passion for life-long learning, training and development which continues today.
