Research Interests

The manner in which humans interact with computers, devices, and sensors (HCI) can be utilised in e-health to measure and track characteristics of movement, voice, vision, heart rate and the like.

Such biomarkers can both detect disease and monitor aspects of the disease progression over time. My previous study into detection of early Parkinson's Disease (2017, currently awaiting publication) found that HCI can be used to diagnose the disease with high accuracy, and the results of that investigation have prompted a current follow-on study.

Fingerprint Fingerprint is based on mining the text of the person's scientific documents to create an index of weighted terms, which defines the key subjects of each individual researcher.
