Cash Prize of $250 for best presentation
This is an award of $250 given to students who present their outstandingly research in the area of grain science. The award was given for my presentation entitled “Purple Rice Phenolic Composition and Antioxidant Potential during in vitro gastrointestinal digestion”.

My research is exploring the bioavailability and health properties of coloured whole grains. This ties in well with the mission of the AGSA organization which is to ‘’foster innovative grain science and promote a sustainable grains industry with positive impacts on society’’
