Charles Sturt University's FutureTeach program has been awarded $4.3 million by the Australian Government Department of Education, to provide an alternative employment-based pathway for Education and Teacher Aides at Eligible Placement Schools (EPS). This will enable 100 new high-achieving primary and secondary teachers to study with Charles Sturt to become teachers, and will have a particular focus on support for participants from underrepresented backgrounds and in regional locations across New South Wales, Tasmania and the Northern Territory.
