Abstract
This is a radio interview hosted by Yousef Alreemawi (of La Trobe University). In the first half I discuss the research I have conducted into the Egyptian textile art of Khayamiya, and in the second half I discuss the issues faced by Australian students of Islamic art, and how these are being addressed by the new tertiary distance-education subject "ART240: Introduction to Islamic Art & Design" which I am developing for CSU for delivery over late 2015 - early 2016.
