A comparative study on learning support services of Charles Sturt University and Hebei RTVU

    Abstract

    Learning support services are invaluable for distance learners, they ensure that the quality and success of distance education are maintained and play an important role in the development of distance education teaching practices. Charles Sturt University (CSU) and Hebei Radio & TV University (HRTVU) have been developing their learning support services to offer high quality distance education in their respective countries. This paper compares the learning support services of the two universities from the aspect of: teaching support, assignment submission, e-library services and staff training in distance learning. By means of comparison, the paper tries to show their differences and similarities, and concludes with CSUpsilas some experiences which Hebei Radio & TV University can benefit from.
