Abstract

This reading of "A Good Bloke", written by Adam Deusien and Isabel Fox and directed by Kate Gaul, was performed at Walshaw Hall, Bathurst, as part of the artistic festival attached to the ArtState Bathurst Conference of NSW Regional Arts Organisations held in late October 2018. The audience for "A Good Bloke" comprised ArtsState delegates - mostly theatre-makers and arts bureacrats - including Sydney Festival Director 2017-2019, Wesley Enoch, and NSW Arts Minister, Don Harwin. I read/performed the roles of "woman", Creon and Aegeus.
