The meeting is at The Waterfront Conference and Exhibition Centre in the heart of Belfast and on the banks of the River Lagan. It runs from 29 August – 2 Sept 2016. The theme is Sustainable Food Production: Livestock's Key Role. This is Europe's largest animal science conference and will feature 1000 presentations and 1200 delegates. Belfast is an exciting and highly accessible city. What sets Belfast apart from other cities is the warm welcome the people will give you, the sense of adventure, excitement and an unforgettable food experience to all who attend. The content will cover the whole range of animal science including genetics, nutrition, animal management and health, physiology, cattle, sheep and goat, pig, poultry and horse production and livestock farming systems. It will also feature fish and food and there will be sessions featuring science relevant to industry. |
