    Abstract

While strong, direct evidence linking computer use to childhood obesity is lacking, this has not yet been studied sufficiently to discount these effects either. The constant availability of television and computers encourage children to lead sedentary lives. We can afford to ignore this issue any longer - we need to turn the television off.
