Abstract

'A Secret Work' is about remarkable disclosure. It forms part of a portfolio with a second, ''A Miracle Occurs'. Together, they address the question of real and imagined histories and those impossibly thin lines that separate reality and story. They consider the intensity of narrative and memory and as a pair stand at opposing ends of the spectrum of epiphany and mysticism. Their 14 line loose sonnet form is part of a larger body of 99 works. The project Mascara Literary Review has published the work of established poets from around the world.
