Abstract
This paper highlights the public health implications of urbanization within thedeveloping and developed countries in Asia to include a discussion on howurbanization affect on health and nutrition. The study also draws strategiesfrom countries in Asia and South Africa which proved successful in thecontrol of urbanization present at local, national, and global levels.
