Abstract
The chapter is a response to and further comments with regard to the chapter 'Re-Reading the Historical Record: Curriculum History and the Linguistic Turn', by Phillip Cormack and Bill Green, published in the same volume. It elaborates on what subsequent developments in the wider intellectual field since the 'linguistic turn' per se have meant for what might be called postmodern curriculum history, of the kind outlined here.
