Abstract

David Copp has argued for what he calls the Collective Moral Autonomy Thesis (CMA) in his paper of the same name.1 His argument for this thesis consists essentially in putting forward a number of examples. In this paper I want to argue that, contra Copp, his examples do not demonstrate the truth of the thesis.
