Abstract
There is a sense of journey and discovery in many aspects of ageing set in the diversity of religion and cultures that exist within current Western societies. Vulnerability exists side by side with human flourishing. The richness of religious expression and the traditions of older people, grounded in their cultural heritage, can be likened to a tapestry in life, interwoven with many colours and threads, to be honoured and loved.
