Abstract

This article follows up on how some of the authors featured in Part 1 of this two part series have embedded their learning from the conference into practice. All too often, attending a conference such as the ASLA Biennial Conference at Tweed Heads in April 2023 leads to a spike of great ideas and a rush of inspiration, but a failure to follow through with implementation as the non-stop nature of library work takes hold in the days and weeks after the event. To combat this, I was inspired to reach out to fellow participants soon after the ASLA conference, eager to claim the agency granted by the speakers, to make a public commitment to putting into practice some of the inspirations emerging from this professional learning opportunity. What resulted is this two part series, of which this article is the second.
