N2 - This paper describes the confusion surrounding the use of the official Field of Education (FoE) categories to describe the graduate completion levels of recent graduates in agriculture. Official FoE categories have agriculture and environment in the same category which, when used as a whole, results in a misrepresentation of agriculture by up to 9x. The importance of asking the right question in order to obtain the answer needed is demonstrated. This remains an ongoing issue for the industry sector if the public is to be correctly informed about key educational matters in agriculture.
