Abstract

The singular points and asymptote lines of velocity fields are important in analyzing the properties of the fields but normally difficult to identify. We have created mesh refinement methods which can find the points and lines, and verified by analytical velocity fields. This paper briefly shows characteristics of the method for two dimensions using the two-dimensional lid-driven cavity flow.
