Abstract
After completing the phase of planning the change in an organization, change leaders and managers “must review what has been done up to this point and decide whether or not to proceed” (Curzon, 2005, p. 49). Once they have decided to move forward, they should take the next phase of change management life cycle: implementation phase which involves resolving conflict. Therefore, it is vital for change leaders and managers to resolve conflict in a successful way in order to implement the change successfully.
Firstly, this chapter focuses on what conflict is, causes of conflict and types of conflict. Secondly, it explores the approaches to resolving conflict. Finally, it summarizes the main points of this chapter.
