Abstract
Report of a study of beach and ocean user attitudes to shark mitigation following the trial of SMART Drumlines in their local ocean. The study also reported on attitudes to the VR4G listeing stations off local beaches and the SharkSmart app.
The study found mixed sentiment concerning all approaches and emphasised the importance of developing strategy for local contexts and in collaboration with local expertise.
