Audio visual-oriented encryption algorithms

Abstract

This paper presents the specifically customized encryption algorithms for audio visual data. Image encryption utilizes the combined encryption scheme using the parameterized DWT, aliased Secure Wavelet Transform (SWT) which provides first level of image security and circular chaotic cryptosystem for second level of encryption. Encrypted images are highly secure in perception wise and have great key space span to resist attacks. Conversely, audio encryption is of exponential encryption algorithm on speech coefficients. Mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCCs) — based feature extraction on speech signals yields crucial coefficient. Encryption on coefficients follows an exponential style in reflect of coefficient priority based on energy distribution leading to lower EDT time. In this paper, the authors investigate the proposed encryption scheme with analysis such as statistical, key space, and sensitivity analysis. Results show that the encryption scheme projects good attributes toward audio visual encryption purposes.
