N2 - As a ceramic artist I was invited to discuss the novel by Trevor Shearston entitled 'Hare's Fur' as part of the Bathurst Writers' Readers' Festival. The book is based loosely on the life of renowned Australian potter, Peter Rushforth from the Blue Mountains. The panel was assembled from people knowledgeable on the various themes and issues raised in the book.
