Abstract

When mentoring students one's own personal and professional framework becomes an influential part of the learning environment. In this chapter I describe how I cam to incorporate the practice of Nonviolance specifically through Marshall Rosenberg's Nonviolent communication Model (NVC) as my main social work lens and communication tool and illustrate its application to student mentoring.
