Abstract
There are two key questions behind this chapter: How may we read the bible in the public spaces of Asia? How do we read the bible as a public book? Acknowledging the overlap between public, private, political and religious spaces, this chapter calls for embracing the body, sexuality and sensuality, in public readings of biblical texts.
