Abstract
The diversity of practices situated in the inclusive tent of adventure therapy (AT) is growing. However, professional training remains limited. Most practitioners inform their work based on their passion for the outdoors, on-the-job experiences, and clinical training, leading to a community rich with diversity and experience, but muddied by a lack of professional training related to what AT is specifically. Of course, answering the latter is probably impossible. This presentation provides an overview of efforts to teach AT internationally in the classroom. Participants will explore pathways for the AT community to connect with students in university.
