Abstract
Reflective practice is vital in nursing education and clinical practice, enhancing learning, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence; whilst building on critical thinking and professionalism. Teaching this skill online is challenging, requiring motivation for online engagement. Students needed to grasp the link between reflective practice, deeper learning, and their professional roles. Group discussions were created in an online community leading to social connectedness and provided student centred learning in the online environment. Scaffolding learning through online group discussion provided connectiveness between reflective practice, lifelong learning, emotional intelligence, and resilience. Positive feedback showed transformative impact on learning, and online community engagement.
