Abstract

A permanent and independent anti-corruption commission is the only long-term safeguard against political and police corruption, abuse of power and official misconduct. The Cayman Islands desperately needs one now. And in light of last week's relevation that the UK's Metropolitian Police Service has been undertaking an undercover operation in the Cayman Islands, this move cannot come a moment too soon.
