This one is another very special issue, being the fourth of a series of issues we are publishing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the journal. As explained more fully in a prior editorial,[1] STH has been part of the Thrombosis and Hemostasis landscape for 50 years. STH was first published in 1974, and so turns 50 in 2024. The current issue of STH marks the fourth and final of these special issues and further helps celebrate the 50th year “birthday” for STH.
