Abstract
This chapter partly reviews the book as a whole, and furthers the discussion on doctoral studies as a distinctive form of education. In this regard, it specifically considers notions of knowledge, pedagogy, vis-a-vis supervision, and practice, making specific connections to recent work in the area of what is called practice theory and philosophy.
