Abstract

There has been growing international interest in the potential of meditation type programs for improving student wellbeing in schools, including the use of Christian Meditation in Australian Catholic schools. The Catholic School Offices of Lismore Diocese and the Archdiocese of Sydney (now Sydney Catholic Schools) approached the Centre for Children and Young People at Southern Cross University to undertake longitudinal research on the Christian Meditation program in schools in their Dioceses.
