    Abstract

    Visible Implant Elastomer is a silicone-based tag commonly used for marking fishes and amphibians, and less often, for marking earthworms, crustaceans, molluscs and reptiles. This paper reports on our experiences with VIE and makes some additional suggestions for maximising its efficiency.
