Abstract
This chapter describes assessment of the Activities and Participation domain of Communication (d3) as it relates to children and youth with developmental disabilities. In the ICF-CY, Communication relates to 'general and specific features of communicating by language, signs and symbols'' (p. 145) 1 and encompasses: Communicating ' receiving (d310-d329), Communicating ' producing (d330-d349), and Conversation and use of communication devices and techniques (d350-369).
