Abstract

Generative AI technology powered by a Large Language Model, such as the implementation of ChatGPT, is fuelling the concern of an arms race in the defence of academic integrity. Is Generative AI merely a productivity tool similar to PowerPoint for presentation or an enabler for industrialscale cheating?
