Chapter objectives:' Highlight the issues and possible interventions for families affected by parental mental illness.' Describe family care plans, one model of family centered case management.' Identify the issues and challenges involved for case managers when working with families affected by parental mental illness.' Discuss future research and policy directions when developing effective case management models for these families.
