Abstract

This body of ceramics represents a combination of both complex technical achievements in terms of glaze development through experimentation and the execution of the firing process and also the use of these glazes on ceramic forms which combine to form an aesthetic object of fine art. The dual development of ceramic forms and glaze surfaces to suit these forms are the aims of this research body of work. These works reflect the level of refinement of the ceramic forms and sophistication of the complex glazed surfaces and the unity of these elements.
