Abstract
This issue includes five articles from four continents: Africa, Asia and North and South America. The topics discussed are as follows: the US students’ views about international social work curricula; the role of adult education in community development in Ghana; young residents of impoverished neighbourhoods in Central America; rural older people in Bangladesh; and the impact of peri-urbanisation on original inhabitants in Zimbabwe.
