| Other | The Pharmaceutical Society of Australia’s flagship annual conference was held in Sydney from 26 - 28 July 2019. Themed Pharmacists in 2023: unlocking your opportunities, the conference showcased how to enhance the potential roles, recognition and remuneration for pharmacists as the custodians of medicine safety to improve healthcare for all Australians. The diverse program was developed to ensure there were innovative clinical, therapeutic and industry sessions for pharmacists in all practice settings, while focusing on medicine safety and expanded roles for pharmacists. It also incorporated the popular shark tank session in innovation, engaging panel sessions and high-profile international and local guest speakers and experts. PSA partnered with the Australasian Pharmaceutical Science Association (APSA), to enrich the level of research presented as the foundation for evidence based pharmacist’s roles into 2023. PSA19 was again held in one of Sydney’s most exciting hotels and convention spaces, The Hyatt Regency Sydney, in Darling Harbour. |
