Abstract

This poster presents the key aspects of the first phase of an evaluation of the ACIAR project Adapting to Salinity in the Southern Indus Basin (ASSIB) in relation to building community capcity to adapt ot salainity and change. The poster summarises the the purpose, method and anlaysed results from 48 sotry of change interviews undertaken by porject team members in Pakistan. The conclusion is that small, respectful project that are intent on empowering communities to act can lead to wider scale practice and behaviour change in communities facing climate and other major changes.
