    Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

    Abstract

The article discusses the use of iCentres, or multimedia production facilities, in Australian school libraries. The Australian federal programs Building the Education (BER), Digital Education Revolution (DER), and the Australian National Curriculum Framework and their effect on transitioning schools toward digital education methods are discussed. Technology, information, and librarian expertise available in an iCentre are explored. Steps toward building an iCentre, technology staff, and resourcing in school communities are also evaluated.
