Abstract

If we are to face the issues of the challenges of confessing the faith within the unity of the one holy catholic and apostolic church, we need to begin by going back to basics. How are we to confess the faith? We are to do so in both word and action. In the words used to form the ecumenical movement, we are to do so both by faith and order and by life and work.
