By considering the research, policy and practice themes emanating from the preceding chapters in this book, this chapter synthesises the themes into coherent recommendations and discusses the implementation of these recommendations. The chapter concludes with a statement about future research directions dealing with the interrelationship of families and their children’s transition to school.
