Abstract

Artist, Eleanor Gates-Stuart commissioned to create contemporary designs for FashFEST 2014. The collaboration involves fashion designer Shelly Campton and JETS Digital.

FASHFEST first burst on to the scene in 2013, coming out of nowhere. The event was held for two years in an empty, raw, industrial space at the Canberra airport. Next the event moved to the award-winning National Convention Centre Canberra. The space, brought to life with inspirational sound and lighting, was transformed into a magnificent backdrop for the biggest runway event ever seen in the capital, enabling guests to get up close and personal with exciting, unique and diverse fashion design.

Dynamic, ambitious and vibrant, with a cutting-edge spirit, FASHFEST showcases the collections of talented local designers on the catwalk. National and international labels, many with a connection to the capital, have also graced the runway. https://fashfest.com.au/about/
